FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

This bass is an early example of a Leo-era bass with rear loaded controls.  Rear-loaded basses were introduced in late 1985.  Another change that occurred to the L-1000 around this time is the addition of a bootstrapping resistor that changes the taper of the treble control.
