FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

In 1992, G&L assembled many discontinued models from the Leo Fender era using leftover bodies and parts.  These were sold in a famous "garage sale" held in Fullerton.  This is Comanche V Signature is one of these guitars and has a pre-BBE body, pickguard, pickups, and control pots.  It's interesting to note that although the neck was manufactured in 1992, it sports pre-BBE specifications including a thin veneer fingerboard and gloss finish.
