FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

The ASAT S-3 shown here is one of the last produced before the model was discontinued in 2001.  Normally, a G&L with a sunburst finish would have an ash body, but this example was ordered with an alder body in addition to the optional gun oil tinted, birdseye maple #4 neck.  Contrary to popular belief, the ASAT S-3 has individual pickup routes, not a "bathtub" route.
