FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

The G&L semi-hollow "Thinline" series was introduced in May 1997. The thinline body offers lighter weight, greater resonance and slighty different tonal characteristics -- the midrange frequencies tend to be scooped a bit. The ASAT shown here has some factory options including a bound top and bound ebony fingerboard as well as a Bigsby B-5 tailpiece.
