FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

Fender took the well-respected Japanese-made Traditional 60s Jazzmaster model and made it a Limited Edition model with two special finishes from the 1960s: Blue Floral and Pink Paisley. It was offered only in 2018 and 2019. The Japanese Jazzmasters, as well as Fenders for the Japanese domestic market, are made by Dyna Gakki in Nagano. The quality is excellent with the only weak points being the Strat-type pickups under the J-Master covers and the Japanese tailpiece. Those weakness have been remedied on this example with a pair of EP Custom pickups and a Fender American Vintage tailpiece.
