FACTOIDS & TRIVIA
The U-101 is an oddball amplifier. Being a budget model, the chassis was assembled in Japan (very likely by Univox) which was unusual for an American manufacturer in the early 1960s. The cabinet and speaker, however, were made in the United States. While the quality of the workmanship is acceptable, the Japanese electronic components of the time weren’t as good as their contemporary American counterparts. Still, the U-101 is a screamin' lil' Deluxe killer.
