The 1964 Fender Vibroverb 1x15 combo amp is relatively rare and highly sought after by players and collectors. The "Vibroclone" is an alternative for those who want Vibroverb tone without the cost of a Vibroverb. The "Vibroclone" can be built using any 40-watt Fender reverb amp chassis including the Super Reverb, Pro Reverb, and Bandmaster Reverb. The amp shown here was made with a Bandmaster Reverb chassis whose circuit was modified to "blackface" specifications. The cabinet was custom made by Vintage Amp Restoration to exact Vibroverb dimensions. The original Vibroverb generally used a Jensen C15N or JBL D-130F. This "Vibroclone" used both speakers at one time or another since they both sound good.
