FACTOIDS & TRIVIA

Look, a pair of maple body L-1000s!  At first glance the sunburst bass would appear to have a mahogany body and clear red is almost always found over ash, yet both bodies are indeed made of Northwestern maple.  The weight of maple can vary as exemplified by these basses:  sunburst = 9.8 lbs, clear red = 8.8 lbs.
